Hello, I am three weeks into ownership of my Prius and I have been spending my time researching additions to add to my new toy. I am about ready to order the CAN-view v4 and the corresponding Lilliput LCD but I am uncertain as to where to find (or by what name to reference) the stand that is shown
here (not hotlinked as I am not sure of the owners policy). I know that I have come across it in the last few weeks but I cannot seem to recall/find where exactly this was.

Thanks for the help!

+1 to this. I am a new Prius owner also, and in searching on all the new toys that are available, i haven't seen where I can pick this up. =D

It's not exactly a goose neck, but I like the Ram Mount System. Their web site is: www.ram-mount.com
You can find their products on line, and also at marine stores such as West Marine.

Markertek sells two gooseneck products specifically made for small LCD's. Part # DELV-FLEX is a 22" long heavy duty LCD gooseneck described as "no-sag" that uses some type of universal clamp for attachment to a solid object for $69.95; Part # DELV-FM3 is a 16" long fixed bolt-down version of it labeled as "non-droop" for $47.99. Both are apparently manufactured by DelvCam/TecNec. Both are on page 195 of Markertek "printed" catalog. See link below.
Personally, I mount my Lilliput directly above the MFD so that I can drive more safely by seeing the road via peripheral vision. And, if you position it just right, you will not block any of the instrument panel indicators from drivers point of view. If you are worried about attracting a thief with it mounted way up there, you could rig up a quick-disconnect system for when you have to park in South Boston...or, in my case, the South Bronx.

How do you mount it above the MFD? With a dashboard suction cup, on the window, something that catches under one of the panels or ...? Ideally I would like it near the MFD as well.

Yes, something that allows me to disconnect the screen is very necessary. I lived in a rather dodgy area near South Boston until two days ago and will be living in Providence for graduate school in the Fall.

There were some interesting products there. Do you use any of their products for this or a similar purpose at present?

Here's a good one that I'm buying today to mount up two rear lcd's that I have velcroed on temporarily. Whit this mount (I'm actually buying them off eBay for 40 total for two.) i'll be able to remove, then unplug if I'm parking in an unsavory neighbor hood. Or if I don't want to go that far, I'll just be able to flex them down so that I get them tucked under the Seats. I'll post pics after the install.
