Group Buy: KENSTYLE Aero Prius Body Kit

It's time for another group buy, and this time it's a great deal on a very nice body kit by KENSTYLE. The Aero body kit consists of 3 pieces:

• Front Spoiler
• Side Steps
• Rear Valence

The Group Buy price is $1,400 including shipping, duties, and taxes from Japan to your doorstep. The regular price listed on other sites for this kit is $1,865 plus shipping.

I'd like to keep this GB open until we have at least 10 people committed. If we have 30 people committed to the Group Buy, I'll throw in a $50 PriusChat Shop gift certificate for everyone. Transit time will take approximately 3-4 weeks from the time the Group Buy closes.

Payment will be via Google Checkout since I can control when your credit card is actually charged (as opposed to PayPal), so if you're interested, please respond to this thread and send me a PM with your email address so that I can send you a Google Checkout Invoice.

The Aero kit comes un-painted and offers OEM caliber fitment, and is actually sold at Toyota dealerships in Japan as factory optional parts. Here are some pics:

Yes, due to excellent price, but... saving up to convert to PHEV. Once that were done, I'd definitely want the aero kit to help distinguish my car. Or, might go with the aero kit now, if finances permit, so please hang in there, a while! - Gary

The 3 piece Kenstyle kit is "too aggressive" for most peoples taste I believe. The side skirts are very cool though!!! I recommend the Modellista Kit instead.

There are a couple of authorized Kenstyle dealers in the US including Bulletproof Automotive and Intense Motorsports. I connected with each of them in the past and both quoted me a similar $1400 deliverd price.

I personally just recieved today (after a 7 week wait) my "painted" Modellista kit (front/rear lips) and as a single item the "unpainted" Kenstyle side skirts from Sigma Automotive. The US dealers for Kenstyle will only sell a full 3 piece kit, so if you want just the side skirts I recommend Sigma.

I will have them installed within a week and will post some picture for all to see.

Also keep in mind that if you do get the Kenstyle kit, it comes unpainted. I received a quote of $1000 from Intense Motorsports in Gilbert, AZ to paint and install the kit.

So if you want a body kit be ready to shell out about $2400 - 2500 for it installed.

i contemplated buying that kit for a while but being in PR it was kind of difficult... so as time passed i spent it elsewere (rotors + sportivo kit) haha... but i do have some saved for Toms stuff... so i'll be looking around till you post that.

I'll be going more with the TRD... scca 2 solo look... just the front spoiler and some nice wheels...

The Prius doesn't need a body kit, It looks good just the way it is.

the Kenstyle kit is still too rich for me anyway.
