Unfortunately, most of the tire threads on Priuschat address the non-Touring Edition Prius. Still, from what I read, I figured I would be safe going up to a 205-width tire on the existing 16-inch rims. Had Pirelli P4 Four Seasons in 205/55R16 installed today and the difference in ride is astounding. Quieter, softer, better handling. I'm very happy with them. And, I am so glad that we have a site like this one to turn to for advice. Thanks guys. |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | UPDATE: Just noticed that this size tire (205/55R16) is the same size tire as on my partner's Mercedes (and on the Mercedes I traded in for my Prius). The additional width and height had a remarkable effect on ride and the tire grips the road like crazy. This was the best $400 I could have spent modding my Prius. I highly recommend that you ditch the stock Turanzas. |

I guess I have not had enough time to notice anything wrong with them. What you didn't you like about these tires? I wonder if I could trade the Bridgestones for the Pirellis, or will I have to wait intill they wear a little (a year or so). |

For Colorado here, I've been considering the Nokian WRG2 (mean all season) or Hakkapelitta (winter monster) tire. Haven't seen too many reviews or experiences with them, so I will have to do it from first hand experience and hope for the best. |
