It appears to me that unless you have one of the super short ones, you'll still have to remove it for the bath. By the way, aren't car washes a bit tough on your Prius' finish? I avoid them like the plague, but then my Prius is black which makes it more vulnerable to potential "car-wash-caused" blemishes. Regardless, it's an interesting web site. Thanks! |

My reception is lousy as it is with the stock antenna. I can't believe the concern for 'looks' when the resulting reception is worse. I drive from inside the car -- not outside... |

Inside the city it will give a good enough signal and if the antenna is stolen I will have a back-up When I travel between cities I can put on the long antenna.
