Quick history: Car was bought in Fresno, driven to Biloxi, MS for school but serviced in Mobile, and driven back to San Diego. Before I drove off the lot after signing the papers we looked over the car and I noticed a small drop of oil on the transmission. Jokingly I asked if they were going to clean that off. They weren't joking when they said YES SIR. Well they found a bad clutch position sensor something seal and had it replaced. We're talking a TINY drop of oil here. So I get back San Diego and while washing the car I see this little drop of oil on the transmission again, it's been about a year. Take it in and l tell them what the problem was last time. After an hour of sucking down hot chocolate like fish they tell me the seal between the motor and the trany was the problem and that I needed a new transmission. THERE'S A DROP OF OIL ON MY TRANSMISSION THEY'RE GIVING ME A NEW ONE. After a week of driving a dealer car, new 2004 XJ8 convertible, they fixed me up. The car had 35K miles on it, I think. So I figured while they were in there they could install my Arden Suspension Kit, $150 in labor, and replace the clutch, why not right? The clutch and brakes aren't covered under warranty and the clutch cost me $900. Not too bad I guess for a drop of oil Oh yeah, I had Sirius installed by Tweeter, though I was in their arses every step of the way to make sure it got done the way I wanted.

Well I guess because it's not actually attached to the bumpers nore is it "required" for the vehicle to move it wasn't covered. He got a rape job on that one. Then the rear end went out after it got serviced. They told him there was no oil in the diff which is why it went out. Even though it was part of the service to check the diff, it's his responsibility to make sure it's maintained so they didn't cover it either. I laugh at friends when they start talking about Dodge having 100k mile and lifetime powertrain warraties. Kind of like my SeaDoo warranty, looks and sounds good, then they blaim everything on you and don't pay up. If you hadn't of started it, it wouldn't have broken.
