I am waiting to see pictures of this project as it progresses. I remain optimistic but suspect you might just be a kid with a pipe dream who might be able to build a model car but not a real car. Maybe I am wrong????? |

Just alter the wheelbase to match to prius so it looks right. Guy in germany years ago put a widened Golt/rabbit body on a porsche 928 chassis and running gear.(early 80's type golf.) |

I really want to see this build. ![]() I hope you get something together 2jz, cause someone just put a K20a in an Insight. 200hp and it *still* gets 40+mpg with a full interior and intact A/C. They're running 40 degrees of advance at 19:1 afr at cruise. Insane. K20a INSIGHT by LHT - Tampa Racing It looks like LHT is getting a huge amount of publicity (try to google "k-sight") so if you get this done, you probably won't win (m)any pink slips (too many people already know hybrid swaps can be/are being done) but you'll certainly get quite a bit of attention. |

My Car: 2005 Prius Package: I-Tech Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | My last car was a Toyota Aristo that obviously comes with a 2jz and I had heavily modified it to have an Apexi RX-6 single turbo conversion. Was making 300rwkw's. I strongly advise against this because the engine will just require too much fabrication. What I suggest doing is looking towards 4g63t from an evo. You should be able to fit them under the hood of a prius although I imagine it will be quite tight. You will still smoke just about everyone and there are many off the shelf perfomance parts available. |

Just an interesting thought because I would love to see a Prius with an antilag system |

There's no tunnel down the centre of the car to fit a drivetrain through there so that will cause some issues. I suggest buying a really big shoe horn if you want to give it a shot :P |
