Drove 1.5 hours (one way) this early morning to have the tint & bra installed. Hüper Optik Ceramic 40 (40% tint) for the whole car except windshield & the factory dyed lower pane in the rear. Hüper Optik Ceramic 50 (50% tint) for the full windshield with a cut out for the inspection sticker. ClearShield Deluxe for the hood, complete front bumper, side mirrors. Nothing for headlamps. I seldom see you guys mention this brand, any comments? www.ClearShield.com . I can't compare since this is my 1st paint protection film. Regarding mobile phone reception. Outside of the Prius: full bars. Inside tinted Prius: full bars, not one less. According to their booklet, it says: "...Ceramics, unlike metalized films, deter wavelength interference with GPS systems and cell phones..." Spent quite a bit of money today but my Prius is well worth it. |
