VGA to MDF in 05 Prius

I need to know if there are any alternatives to the CAN-View V3 for having the MDF display as a computer screen (accepting a VGA input).

use a vga -> composite adaptor, then figure a way to connect it to the backup camera output, then do the anytime backup camera mod.

I believe that kind of setup would require the VGA card to support "TV Out", unless you get some vga -> "box" -> composite adapter. Just a cable adapter may/may not work.

Also - is this same mod possible in an '08/'09? Maybe a switch to flip from camera to vga, etc?

One thought - if you are talking about a Mac - you can use the miniDVI to composite adapter....
