The percent rating is the approximate average percent of white light that passes through the film, so 5% is limousine tint, 15% is what I have, and 50% in front is what you can realistically get away with here in California without being pulled over. Yeah, thanks. I haven't looked into tint for a while, and it's been about two years since I even thought about it. Thanks for the information. We aren't supposed to have any tint on the front windows, I got away with a lesser tint last time. I think that they don't give drivers crap about it, unless I have an additional reason to be pulled over.

Ahah! noticed on a receipt from the ophthalmologist that I have photophobia. My dad has that too! I have really bad reactions and blinding from light. So I just need to see what I have to do with the DMV and doc to get that ironed out. I want to go dark. Even with sunglasses it sucks.
