for fun, kinda... the plate is normally flat against the bumper and would partly stonewall airflow, and the bottom no longer blocks the grille. to take a page from Front & Rear License Plate Accessories :: Sigma Automotive

I would advise against that. What happens if the side curtain airbag deploys and you have your GPS mounted in the way? I wouldn't want to take a GPS in the teeth at 200 mph.
