so every connector to a cell on this battery balancer is a small charger/discharger for 3.2 volts litium cells. mm wy dont we have these for Nimh battery's.. ( for a good price ) Last edited by Flying White Dutchman; 07-21-2009 at 03:01 AM. | |

Friends: 1 | See as all it aims to do is maintain consistent battery voltages, it seems that it could be easily adapted to various NiMH cells if you can set the proper low/high voltage cutoffs. |

Friends: 15 | prius Nimh batterys have a 7,2 vollts ( the 6, 1.2 volt cells are packed in 1 7.2 volt pack you can not take apart ! ) or 14,4 ( 2 in pair ) cell voltage. the Litium are 3,2 volt cell where you can not make 7,2volt or 14,4 volts from and what do these things cost? |

Friends: 0 | ZOMG, this thread is very relevant to my interests! ![]() Let's get a group buy going! They say it's only $1,500 each if we order 100 of them... ![]() (Or $1,200 each if we order 1,000 of them... though I'm not sure if that would be possible.) |

Friends: 0 | Hi! New member obviously...I've been lurking for a short time and joined specifically so I could post in this thread. IF the initial testing for this thing turns out positive, I'd be VERY interested in getting one. Especially since I'm only about 15 miles from Troy MI. Just bought a used 2004 Prius with ~48500 miles on it. Love it!!! Current tank is getting ~58 MPG on it. |
