Tax credit for Prius gone after 9/30/2007?

Currently tax credit is $787.50 good til sep 30, 2007.
After sept, will the credit simply be half of $787.50? or none at all?

That makes sense... they must have heard I finally made the decision to buy my 2008. Sure could have used that tax credit.... Shame on me for waiting till I had the money to buy..... jf
