Credit for 08 model?

I know this has been beat to death, but I was on the HR block site tonight guess how much we will be shelling out.

I came across this,

Tax - Hybrid Vehicle Tax Credit - H&R Block

Since we bought in December it is saying that we will get 787.50 credit????

I know it is not the official IRS site, but am I reading this correct?

That is incorrect information for a tax credit on the Prius. You had to take delivery of the Prius prior to the end of September 2007 to get a tax credit.

Yea, I was guessing it was a mistake, but thought I would at least pass it along, and check at the same time.

That's right, one is eligible for a hybrid credit for Toyota hybrids only if one took delivery by 9/30/07. Anyone taking delivery on a Toyota hybrid on or after 10/1/07 is not eligible for any hybrid credit. Here's the IRS webpage on the subject:
