My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 |  When should we expect to receive the tax credit? I filed it for my 2007 tax return.... I already receive my state and federal check tax refund... when should I expect to receive the credit for my Prius? Thanks, |

The federal tax credit is an line item you subtract from the taxes you owe. If you don't owe any taxes, the government isn't going to cut you separate check.
