Saw this new topic and had to post something..

Was thinking about this on my way to work this morning.. and had the canview up..

Got about 3 MPG more yesterday morning than the previous morning..and this morning..
Temperature was about the same...
So was the wing. (accoring to the flags)

So could it have been a higher battery temp from using the car the night before?

I do mostly highway mileage.. so I do not think it would matter..

But I am at a loss to explain it..
I want to explain it.. so I can get that kind of mileage all the time..
Also noticed that I got 6 bars.. (30 minutes) at the exact same MPG.. (Just a hair over 50)
Due to my commute.(hilly). that is the first time I have ever seen that..
Any correlation to the increase in MPG?

Something to think about.. <_<

There appears to be a relationship between HV Battery temp and MPG? It is one of the things I intend to look at as the temperatures rise this summer.

The ability of a NMH battery to take and hold a charge varies with temperature. Resistive power losses also change with temp.
