so i finally got registration for my 05 salvage prius, comments on how it drives.
a lot more power than the 01, much much quieter, suspension feels really nice and soft, very powerful on highway, navigation rocks, and last but not least the constant 50 mpg all the way to florida.

anyway, is the new prius steering center position determined by computer, or physical means ( wheel alignment ) if i let go of my steering wheel its a bit turned to the right, doesnt sit in the center, it feels like wheel alignment but then again im not too sure my tires didnt wear unevenly.

Also does anyone know where the stabilizer bar for the 05 prius bolts on to, i have a feeling its vibrating as a brake, because my engine and regen noise gets substianally louder when braking as if theres something connected to the drivetrain that is vibrating.

an alignment should correct the steering wheel off-center. should also reset the steering angle sensor when the alignment's done.

the bar is bolted to the frame by means of of brackets with rubber isolator bushings. the ends are connected to the struts with swaybar links.

hope that helps.
