I´m asking about the navigation - someone told me, it will not work in EU. (off course, not with US DVD, I will buy a European one.) Is this true? Help, please.... |

IIRC, the North American and the European NAV systems are made by different suppliers and are not compatible with each other. [Edit] P.S. I found it: European Nav DVD | |

You can also purchase a map card with North American maps if you happen to fly over and rent a car. You can even get one with both sets of maps installed. See garmin.com for more information. Here's what mine looks like installed (a Nuvi 650 with North American maps). [attachmentid=10461] |

My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | that´s the point... I already imported the car for my girls father.. I have 2 navigations (both mio 520) that are transferable, and I can give him one, or buy a new one - but this is not the point. The owner is 61 year old and he is "old school" - it means, no additional equppment, no wires, etc... It is a full option prius with the new price about 28 000 USD. |
