My Car: Package: Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTM Awards: 0 Friends: 0 | Ugh, the dangers of parking on the street have bitten me in the tush. Came back to the car yesterday and someone had obviously scraped against my car with their bumper. I have an almost inpreceptible dent across two panels (one's a door) with an all too easy to spot scrape in the paint. I'd be tempted to just live with it but I'm afraid of rust since the paintjob has been compromised. Are there any special considerations I should be aware of when having people do light body/paint touchup work on a prius? |

I used GTA Autobody in Northridge, after a truck tire tread inflicted $1300 damage on my 2 week old Prius on the 118 freeway. Just call your insurance, pay the deductable, and you're on your way. Maybe you can polish the scratch if it isn't too deep? Just a thought. I have a new bump just ahead of the rear wheel, next to the door edge that has cracked the paint. I used touch-up paint and from most angles, you can't even see it. |
