Coolant pump gurggling

I've got a 2007 Prius with about 16500 miles on it now. Lately I've noticed the coolant recovery pump gurggling a bit upon shutdown. Coolant levels appear to be fine. Has anyone else heard their pump making a gurggling sound?

I heard mine gurgling on shutdown a week or so ago and was a bit concerned. It was gone the next day however.

I did some searching on here and found a few reports of the noise, but nobody posted back to report any further problems.

I have a 2006 Prius with about 11,000 miles on it. Within the past 2 months, I have noticed that sometimes the coolant pump makes a gurgling-like noise. It does this intermittently. I am a little concerned that it may get worse, but so far it has not.

One of the coolant pumps for the engine often activates upon shutdown to purge and refill the coolant heat storage tank. On some vehicles, it's louder than on others. Including new vehicles.

I have a 2007 with 14388 miles. Mine does it also sometimes. This appears to be normal.
