Arrow HV Battery-fan at ACC on?

Hi!

Did anyone know, if the hv-battery fan is able to cool the hv battery in "ACC-on" mode (pressing the start button 2x without stepping the brake) when temperature demands it? Or is the fan only working in "ready-mode"

Greetings, Mike

I don't know. Probably not because the HV battery is not used in ACC.

if you push start once, only the 12V bat is powering the 12V plugs.
if you push twice, the HV bat. is powering the DC-DC converter, which charges the 12V bat. and the SOC is shown on the mfd. AC is available and so on ... the fan is off because we have very low temps. in austria this time :-)

wrong. when you push twice, its still the 12 volt powering the prius. The only difference is that all the computers turn on.

Agreed. You can tell by pushing twice and listening for the click of the relays coming from the back of the car. (You won't hear them.) Then power up into Ready and you'll hear the clicks as the relays energize.
