Living here, if I used outside air the cabin would always be filled with vehicle exhaust. This may possibly help keep the evaporator clean; there should be little more than exhalation condensates in it. |

I went to a repair shop and they told me the rubber A/C drain tube was pushed up so water was being directed inside the car. I also found out that there was indeed plenty of water in the front seat floor, but it was underneath a pan so I didn't see it. Now, I have the the carpet loose so I can try to dry things out. The guy at the shop said either something bounced up and knocked it inside the car or somebody did it as a prank. It is not easy drying things out since we are having high humidity. It seems I will have to fight the mold & mildew monsters. |
