question to admin. re: picture in signature

i have attempted several different suggested methods of getting a pic in my sig, but all have failed, i see that in my cp it says can upload images for signature no, is this the problem and if so kindly explain how to rectify this or whatever the problem is

Well, obviously it can't be done!

Sorry. Kidding at your expense. I did nothing fancy - just put the image in like I put any image in a post - with the (img) tags. The image lives on my server, however. Maybe that's the problem? I'm not sure that PC will host an image for your sig.

John, create a photo album on PC through your User CP (under Networking > Pictures & Albums, Add Album) and upload the picture you want in your signature. Then click on the picture to get it's address in the browser address bar. Copy it and then edit you signature, use the [IMG] tag as Darell suggested. Voilá!

thanks bill, that semi-worked, what i did was copy and pasted it..couldnt put it in the address bar under insert image

I have "view signatures" turned off in my settings so whether it worked or not is unknown to me. I got tired of flashy and moving and large signatures. Also those signatures that took more space than the post itself.
