listing order of users

Maybe this is way too picky, but I'm curious about how the site software lists the "currently active users" at the bottom of the main forums page. An alphabetical listing would seem to make the most sense. Sorry, I have no idea how difficult this would be to implement, but I'm willing to be enlightened.

I think it's "by most recent click"

What I don't understand - now that I'm staring at it - is why some names have pluses (+) after them and others have asterisks (*).

The names with a plus sign are your friends.

Funny, I don't see any asterisks. Maybe that's a mod-only thing to denote current banishments?

edit: And the green names are moderators, except for Danny the red boss mod.
