For the record, I am a little disapointed in some who continuly slam SUV owners. I have a 4Runner, and absoutly love it!. It's know as the \"Big Brown Truck\" for you NASCAR fans, you know what I am talking about. It is a great vehicle, reliable, and very versital. I have 183,000 miles on it! It truly is a Utility Vehicle. As far as gas milage goes, I know it gets 16-19 mpg. I accepted that when I bought it, and I accept it now. Perhaps Cadiliac, or MiniVan is too difficult to type, and SUV is just easier. When I read posts were people are putting down SUV, I just makes me think these people are very narrow minded.
Please folks, let's take a moment to think about others within these forums before posting negative commentary about SUV owners. There are people in these forums that own them. It is their right to choose for themselves whether or not an SUV will fulfill their needs. They should not have to be subjected to negative judgements for their choices in transportation within these forums. Thank you.

Thank you very much for this reminder, Wolfman.

If you have any bashing of any sort to do, please move it to the Off-Topic forum. We receive 10s of thousands of hits per day and many of those are guests viewing our site for the first time - please continue to set forth the best image for PriusChat and it's thousands of daily users.

From the OT Forum Guidelines:

'Bashing' or 'Flaming' :
A quick note about bashing or flaming - blatant off topic bashing of any car type, manufacturer, etc will not be tolerated here on Priuschat outside of the Off Topic forum. This is the Off Topic area which means that you are free to discuss just about anything you want - so please keep any bashing, flaming, or soapbox rants to this OT forum. However, try to make it a discussion not just a bash session.

Any challenge to this policy will be met first with a warning via PM then a ban from PriusChat.
