HOV Stickers for sale CA

I have HOV stickers good in California for sale. I never put them on my Prius and now no longer own my Prius. If interested please reply.

The stickers are tied to the VIN and are valid only on the Prius that you sold.

From the California DMV website:

All Clean Air Stickers remain with the vehicle they were originally issued to and cannot be transferred to any other vehicle. If you purchase a vehicle that has a Clean Air Sticker you may transfer the sticker to your name.[/b]

They're worthless to anyone else. You should have given them to the new owner of your old car.

Not only worthless, but illegal to display on any other vehicle.

CVC 21655.9. ( c ) ( )1 A person shall not operate or own a vehicle displaying a decal, label, or other identifier, as described in Section 5205.5, if that decal, label, or identifier was not issued for that vehicle pursuant to Section 5205.5. A violation of this subdivision is a misdemeanor.

Misdemeanor CVC violations may be handled by the officer via citation (cite and release) or by a physical custody arrest, which may include towing and storing your Prius pursuant to 22651(h) CVC.

What do you do when the CHIPPIE asks you for your "HOV" registration card and the name, license plate, and or VIN number don't match your vehicle...

I know what he's gonna say, "Sign here please and I will see you in court."

I can apply for my own? My wifes 2007 bought in June? I did not know that, are you sure? Please advise!
