Default New PC Shop product - Toyota Prius Black Front Cargo or Purse Tray

This is one of those products that I didn't realize I wanted until I installed one in my own car and started using it. Nichole loves it, and even as a guy I find myself using it a lot for things like sunglasses when I get out of the car, my wallet while driving, my cell phone, etc.

PriusChat Shop : Toyota Prius Black Front Cargo or Purse Tray [prius_tray] - $17.99

Are you driving a newer Prius? Do you carry a purse, wallet, wear sunglasses, need a place for your cell phone...? Then I must ask: where on earth do you put your purse or pack when someone is sitting in the passenger seat?! On the dirty floor where your passenger can step all over it? "Excuse me, can you please hand me my purse?" every time you need to root around in it?

This was my problem, until I found this cool cargo holder. It slips into place on the hump, and is held firmly in place by two strips of Velcro on the bottom (you don't need to attach anything - the Velcro on the tray grips your carpet firmly without any damage). The curved-up edges hold your purse, sunglasses, wallet, whatever! - it never slips off - and it's at nice height.

The Prius front cargo tray comes in two different thicknesses - you can select either the standard black textured plastic tray, or for $1.00 more you can select the "Deluxe" version, which is made of a thicker black textured plastic. Both are very sturdy!

I bought one of these from another source - a couple of months ago.. very cool.
Works for other items also... cameras, gloves... etc.

I am confused! Where does this go? Do you have a picture of it installed?

Thanks, Evan, I should have included that image originally.

I cannot remember the price offhand, but you can buy kydex material (which this tray looks like) and warm it up in an oven, bend it to your desired shape, let it cool, then trim to finished specs (or if you're good at measuring, cut it before bending it).

You can find Kydex at knife-maker supply houses.. just do a search online for kydex.
It's real easy to work with.. I have made a couple of handgun holsters with little trouble and much cheaper than buying one (I have experience with making leather products also).

Not saying this tray mentioned above is not worth buying, just that you can get kydex and make more custom items than you might really want!

Good suggestion but there are people like me who are too lazy to do this.

Hey Danny, how many of these do you have in stock?

I believe the manufacturer of the product has plenty in stock. I believe their words were "enough to keep up with demand".

What's the story with the thicker one for only $1 more?

If that $1 difference signifies the insignificant amount of substantive difference between the two, or even if there was a lot of difference between the two, I would have thought why bother coming out with two models?

Danny, What would be the shipping charges to send two of the thicker ones to Hawaii?
