REEV = Range-extended electric vehicle. E.g. the Volt: EV + range-extending engine.

Bluestar is Tesla's proposed third model. After the Roadster they plan on building a sporty sedan at about half the price, and then an affordable family sedan.

You sure Bluestar is a sedan? From what I have read in the Tesla forum discussion, it is supposed to be a sporty coupe.

No, I'm not sure. I thought #2 was to be a sporty sedan, but maybe that's a coupe. I thought #3 was supposed to be a family car, and it would make sense for a family car to be a sedan. But I'm not sure.

What I am more sure of is that the second car is to be sporty and around half the price of the Roadster, and the third car is supposed to be in the family-car price class.

Somewhere I read that Bluestar was to be #3, the family car. But I am not certain of that either. It's been a while since I read their site, since I've basically decided that the Roadster is a lot more car than I want, and the #2 car is too far away to concern myself about for the time being.

I think the Whitestar is the family sedan. The Bluestar is the sporty coupe.

np. My reasoning is that the sedan has been in the talks for a while and since Bluestar was new to me (as well as a sporty coupe), I figured Whitestar is the sedan.
