Default '07 Prius

Will be buying an '07 Prius with 30,000 miles and after reading this forum with all the negatives, I'm having second thoughts. Is the traction control bad on other than snowy or inclined roads? Need to make a decision by tommorrow.

I have an '07. No problem with traction control - not even in the snow for me. Only had it kick in once when I was on ice at a stop sign, and once on the highway when I accelerated too hard during a snowstorm for the slippery conditions. If you continue to apply gentle acceleration it will grip as it continues to try to move. It all happened so fast I did not even realize it was happening until afterwards. I am very glad I have it.

It does, however, prevent you from "doing donuts" in the snow (as my kids call it).
