Central Texas Prius Rally

The Renewable Energy Roundup (http://www.theroundup.org/) is being held in Fredericksburg Texas Sept 22-24.
I would like to see if we can organize a Prius/hybrid rally on Saturday or Sunday the 23rd or 24th at the same time. There will be pure EV vehicles from the central Texas Electric vehicle club there as well as alternative fuel vehicles. It would be and outstanding event to show off to the locals and the media the support for Hybrids in Texas. This would be a great place to show off and share the mods to our rides to other owners as well as show the community that its not just another car.
I can arrange a tour of a local ranch that has been setup with wind power, PV and other renewable technologies if any one would be interested.

I'm going to be setting up the wireless internet access, live blogs and some live video of the event. Is there any interest here for such an event?

I didn't know about a Central Texas chapter until now, but I'm glad I found it. I got a notice from ACEAA about the energy roundup but they didn't mention the when/where, so thanks for posting a link to the website! I hope you can reply fast, I would like to meet up this weekend, possibly tour the ranch as well. I'll send you a PM...

We are heading out from the Roundup site in Fredricksburg on Sunday the 24th for the ranch tour. Be there by 9:30 am. I've counted over ten Priuses in the lot, it will be interesting to see how many showup for the drive. It would be a lot of fun to have 20 or more Pruises running the the Hill country in a line.
I have most of the Toms braces installed ant the TRD suspension upgrade if anyone is interested in taking it for a test drive to see the effect of the suspension upgrades. I still have the stock tires and wheels.

I am so sorry I missed you all. I am here in Dallask but not too far? How was it? How many showed up?
