I ordered one of the European rear window wiper arms and a 20" wiper blade and all I can say is that in our climate I don't know why I waited. It is really nice to be able to see better out the rear window. I advise everyone too look into getting one!

Where did you order the wiper arm at? Was it online?

Try this link:
http://sigmaautomotive.com/jdm/prius/prius0405.php

It's in the left column. $59 including silicone blade. There's a lot of stuff there... If you know how to use your browser's built-in page search function, look for "rear wiper". (Ctrl-F in Windows Internet Explorer)

How does the mounting look, hdrygas? I like the smooth look of the factory wiper, but it is dinky. Does the 20" blade leave the glass?

Oh man! Sigma says they have the 2006 EV button too! First time I've seen that!

Yes it goes off the clear or visible portion of the glass at the top on to the blackened edge, it however stays on the glass. It is nice during the day time to look out and see the car behind you rather than 1/2 of it. The arm also tips up so you can clean the glass easily. Definite win win. It does not look bad a bit more delicate because of the lack of plastic cover but it is substantial enough to more than do the job. It is my opinion that dealers in this area should just take off the US arm and replace them with this one before they sell a Prius.

Interesting.

Well you know the US stock wiper arm can lift too. Also, what's this silicone wiper thingy.

Anyone have better pics (than the ones on Sigma's site) of this wiper installed?
