F8L and I are currently driving south to pick up his new '12 from Dianne.

He is currently driving my car for this trip, and is constantly whining about the poor fuel economy, lol. He is also joking that if he has to drive my car back for whatever reason, he is making me get new tires before we leave LA, lmao.

Stay tuned to this thread for constant updates on his new car delivery and more whining.

Is there a "whines per mile" function on the display? Did your reset it for trip A, or will you be tracking lifetime?:D

We have not even hit the grapevine yet, and that is when the real whining will begin.

Mike's tires suck! Non- LRR and like 15psi does not make for good gas mileage. 39mpg or so part way up the grapevine. My GenII got 42mpg in the same conditions but driving 5-10mph faster. : p

The car drives VERY well though!

Cripes! It's actually 37mpg calculated. I think I'm gonna ditch the car and steal the Silverado next to us here at the gas station.

You weren't whining before that, were you?

Jeez. Can't you guys go any faster? I was hoping to see pics of his new car, and him posing with Dianne already.

F8L's fine adventure, since the new toy has what maybe 20 miles on it tops, the ride home should make for a good posting. If I knew you were coming to town I would have driven down to say HI!
You aren't by chance staying in LA tonight are you? Or is it going to be a quick trip back north?

Either way, lets see a write up, and some pics!

Just picked up a clear bra for the drive home. We made a pit stop at Chile's for shrimp tacos and a cob salad. Stay tuned for pics of the F8L Critic clear bra install!

Ohh I already got 54mpg one the 22 mile trip to the shop at 65mph.
