Cool. After you've tried it, you should go back to Liquid Glass and see how they compare. No reason why we can't have more options available to us and I do know that proponents of Liquid Glass really like the product.

I have a bottle from 20 years ago and I still use it from time to time to get rid of bird dropping marrings as it's a pretty harsh stuff. Nu Finish was great in its time as a first generation polymer sealant, but there are now better products.

Use the stuff on my wifes( Blizzard Pearl) Prius, My 94 (black)Supra, and My (white)97 Lx450 and my dads (black) 07 lincoln mark lt. All have had fantastic results! Just follow the directions. I have tried everything form Griots Garage to the expensive Zymol. Nothing compares to Zaino. The more you layer it the better the results & ease of application. On a side note the blizzard pearl is a bit of a weak pearl, but the zaino adds an extra bit of pop..

I have used Zaino procucts for over 15 years and I have yet to find anything else better. My best advice is to follow the directions and USE VERY LITTLE OF THE PRODUCT. Most people glob it on, thinking it will soak in.... I even do the glass, and then you know how little to use as it should leave just a faint haze on the glass.. It takes very little time to use once you get the technique down. Enjoy!!

It's been awhile since I used Zaino but with my new blizzard pearl I was thinking of trying the Triplets Package consisting of Z-AIO, Z-CS and Z-18. I used to use the old Z-1 and Z-2 technique and that worked well.

I guess it's worth a call to see if I'm on the right track.

For what it's worth, Nu Finish paste was top rated in Consumer Reports. They are the only ones that I know of that do comprehensive testing to prove out the results. I trust that a great deal and that is why I am using it now.

This has always been my reason for it's continued use. In doing research I figured out several things. For a decent shine but a year long seal, Nu Finish works great. I apply it once a year and it will last all year long. However, Zaino and other products, almost always beat the Nu Finish in shine, hands down, however they simply don't last as long between needing to it.

If you are like myself and will put up with less of a shine and then only have to apply it once a year, Nu Finish, works great. If you LOVE great SHINE and don't mind a couple of yearly applications, other products like Zaino are probably best. Point is, I am just to lazy for more than once a year polish !

Still dying to see the Zaino pictures though.

One thing I hate about most car waxes is that if you get some on the black rubber or black plastic exterior surfaces, it usually shows up as very noticeable white markings. Do these Zaino products do this? Do you know of any that do not?

Customer Reports did the test and top-rated Nu Finish two decades ago (and Nu Finish got in trouble for advertising it as such, as CR doesn't like it when companies do that). It's harsh stuff chemically (which is why it's great for removing bird dropping marring). I doubt any product actually lasts the whole year, but why still use a 1st generation polymer sealant (Nu Finish) when there are newer generation non-abrasive polymer sealants such as Zaino that you can apply anytime you like. "Once a year polish" is just for marketing purposes, but I bet Nu Finish doesn't last longer than Zaino (which CR doesn't test because it can't really be bought off the shelf).

Yep, I can also say, Zanio doesn't leave that white residue on black trim.

I can attest to that as well. Zaino actually improved the dull plastic after a few applications. The stuff gets pricey, but i always come back for more. It's superior to all! Probably why it's never on sale.

Zaino shipped my order the same day I ordered it. I got the Z-AIO, Z-5, Z-6 and Z-7. Hopefully I can get the car done this week and take pictures. The car is going to need a lot of clay work though.

First off, I am not trying to get anyone to use OR even like Nu Finish, to be honest I would never attempt that, even if I did like one product over another. In fact, I have always stated, it leaves a lot to be desired in the "shine" department over other waxes out today. Hence, my original statement that I was waiting to see the pictures from the OP. I knew it would look better than with what I use.

However, Consumer Reports, DOES list Nu Finish as having the best (by a big margin), of all tested waxes (paste and liquid), lasting finish durability. If it is truly once a year or not is not really important, it's durability is what i Like the most. The durability of Nu Finish is the main reason it tops Consumer Reports ratings almost every year. These are current ratings too. Again, because of my laziness and , living in Wisconsin with snow and salt, ect., I have continued to use this older product, because CR testing and my own experiences have shown it to last through our tough weather.

I am sure Zaino is a great product and probably even better, which is what I have always stated. I am not trying to get into a pissing match , trust me. Like you stated Zaino is not test by CR and is not included in these tests. Enough said, Take Care.

This is exactly what I use. Here is what I do:

    1. I use Dawn liquid soap if I'm going to apply Z-AIO or Z-5
    2. I use Z-7 (car wash) if I'm only going to apply Z-6 (gloss spray) afterward.

Z-AIO and Z-5 are very similar. Not sure I fully understand their difference. I swap back back and forth between the two and make sure I use one of them about once a month. I always follow up with Z-6 after every wash and often use a quick spray the next day or two in between washes. Only because I keep my car in garage and only if it does not have much dust on it. Have to be careful and make sure there isn't any grime on car that would cause scratches.

Don't forget to try Zaino Blonde Borderfeee towels. LOVE THEM!!!
