Is there anyone who knows how much Toyota service usually charges per hour for installation of OEM accessories? :D

Do not go to a dealer unless you want to be taken to the cleaners.

So, you would take your electronic gadget like Prius to a shade tree mechanic who uses outdated equipment and has no idea of the latest hybrid mechanisms. Dealers are higher priced and can be a pain too but atleast the tech there is familiar with hybrids and gets input from Toyota unlike a local mechanic. :D

Yes, there may be a very few competent indy techs - but for most of the population out there - it's like searching for a needle in a haystack !!:)

It is best to call them and ask the $$ varies -- you are in an expensive part of the country

We're talking about accessories here. Very little to do with hybrids.

DCH Toyota in Simi quoted me $125 for one hour to install a HomeLink mirror.

Go to Tommy @ Music Box in El Monte, CA...

He installed my steering wheel, side mirrors with led turn signals and my OEM style fog lights...Tommy knows the car inside and out.

Oops, sorry ,my mistake. I overlooked that accessories part and assumed it was for some repair. OP, just ask around - different dealers have different prices and even new car dealers of other non Toyota makes install them if they are just an external modification.
