    Hi James,

Thank you for posting and congrats!

Could you let me know your impression of the car in high speed and crosswind situation? Does it feel light if you need to pass a container truck?

    Thanks so much!

Not too shabby for 65 mph, dispelling the myth that it's only good for the city.

Yea I'm starting to realize that the EPA seriously underrated the hwy mpg on this car. OP, I'm getting consistent 60 mpg on the mid going 65 mph on the fwy. Try and beat that :p

60mpg average or 60mpg on the instantaneous display? There is a big difference. :)

My GenII could easily pull off 53-55mpg average is speeds were kept below 65mph. The c will likely do better.

I also came from a Yaris five door , and wholeheartedly agree with James, no problem with cross winds or Semi trucks. The Prius aerodynamics really work! BTW even at speeds 70-75 I got 46-47 mpg! Not too shabby!

Yay! I'm going from a 2010 Prius into the Prius C! Can't wait! I agree that even from my little test drive, the C felt way more fun to drive than my 2010.

    Congrats!

^Same here (upgrade-wise). The only fun I'm gonna' have is seeing how close to 80 (mpg, that is) and beyond I can get, lol.

I'm glad we got ours when we did, I have a funny feeling there's going to be a supply/demand issue for awhile with the C!

Well James, it was cool to drink some coffee and bond over mpg's and Prius C's today lol! I loved the Habenero color and please don't take offense if I call it The Great Pumpkin or Orange crush lol! Wish I knew how to upload a pic of our two C's side by side from my phone. I'll play around w it later.
