How can I purchase the wheels that come standard on the Prius Plug in for my Prius 2012/3?

I see in the custom wheel thread lots of lost mileage and other issues. Don't want any of that and the wheels on the Prius Plug in clearly don't create mileage issues.

That's because virtually all of them are upgrading to bigger and wider wheels compared to factory 15".

Put a "WTB" thread in the classifieds. I'm sure someone will be wanting to upgrade their PiP wheels and willing to sell the old ones. Or call your local parts department if you are willing to pay retail.

I just installed my new plug in wheels. And I bought them for the same reasons you are looking at them. They look nice. they are hub centric and light weight. Be ready to pay extra for them. They are in the 250 range each which is a 100 dollars or so more then a good aftermarket wheel. You can get a cheaper aftermarket wheel but as soon as you start looking for factory OEM quality you will have to pay. So I decided that for the quality and peace of mind the wheels will be a better long term purchase.

I am new to this forum and i am not quite sure exactly how to chat back and forth. However, I just bought a PriiuC3 and have purchased aftermarket wheels. I am willing to sell the original 15" wheels that it came with. Based on previous message I understand these have significant value. Interested in making an offer?

The factory 17" are hot commodities. The stock 15" not so much as many people unload them for aftermarket rims.

Yes. I'd be interested. Send me a private message with some pics. Or you could post some pics and put them up for sale in PriusChat's classified.

The dealer wanted 300 plus for them.
