Windshield

    I have a 2005 Prius and on the windshield by the rear view mirror is kind of a triangle with little black dots that is wide by the rear view mirror and is very narrow as it goes along the border of the windshield. Was just wondering what that is for, nothing about it in the owners manual.

    That is what my husband thought to, but why does in go all the way around the border of the windshield, plus it doesn't do a very good job of keeping the sun out of my eyes, LOL

    It's an aliased edge, making the dark adhesive band look softer.
