Does anyone actually have the skid plate for the prius or the strut bar that goes in the engine? Do you like them or do they work. Im thinking about getting both, just wondering what everyone else thinks. Also does anyone know if you can add the navigation system to your prius if you bought it without. I have a 2008 package #2.

    Thanks for all the help!

I have BT tech's plate.. Toms upper strut tower brace... and TRD sportivo suspension kit...

In my opinion the plate and the strut tower work really well to add stability to the car... the suspension kit adds even more noticeable stability and embraces each of the components potential..

dont know anything on the navigation though

Only way to add nav is to buy an aftermarket device or trade in the Prius for one with nav.

The Skid plate and the Strut Tower Brace from BT Tech are not in production yet, but Brian is taking advance orders for these.....
You would have to be patience to see the final results and read all the comments from future users.

I got mine from Carson Toyota (http://www.newtoyotaparts.com), a few years ago. It took about 8 weeks to arrive, since it came directly from Japan. Since then, quite a few more people have got the TRD, so they may have stock on hand. I got them installed at a performance shop for $200 vs $700 at the Toyota dealership.
