Amazon is having a deal for the Bosch Icon Wiper Blades get a $15 mail in rebate on a pair. But Amazon doesn't have the information for Prius G3 yet, so it couldn't tell me which model number will fit the Prius G3. Can anyone provide the information? I know Paradox already provide the size for it, but I saw some of them have two different model for the same size. Thank You!!

Here is the link for the Amazon rebate

For some vehicles, the A ones are for the drivers side and the B ones are for the passenger side.

But if you look, bosch says for a 2009 the A's are for both the drivers and passenger sides. So for a 2010 I don't know what works since even Bosch's site has the 2010 listed but no info available for it.

Just found this out: "The BOSCH ICON wiper blades also offer a more precise fit to the windshield with a different amount of tension between the drivers and passenger side wiper blades to remove additional moisture from the windshield (less streaking)."

So it could mean a different amount of tension between the A and B ones... I just don't see it being a big deal if one were to order them and just get say A's for both...

It would be a big deal if the passenger blade was too big and hit the windshield molding. For example, on my '07, I have a 24 inch blade on the driver's side and a 20 on the passenger side. The passenger blade is less than 2 inches from the molding, so no way could I have gone with a 24 on both sides.

I didn't mean get the wrong size. I meant if the tension was different between an A and a B like I said in the post concerning the difference between A and B... I posted the sizes for all wipers, so I wouldn't then say getting the wrong size wouldn't matter...

Wiper-related but slightly OT: Does the G3 still have the eccentric pivot for the passenger blade, a la G2?

On another front, is it possible to put larger wipers on the back of a 2010 Prius to get more window coverage??????

    Wiper blades

Are the front wiper blades on the G3 the same size as on the G2?

    Re: Wiper blades

    Sizes on the 2010 are

    Driver front: 26"

    Passenger front: 19"

    ----------------------------------

    Sizes on the 2004 - 2009 are

    Driver front: 26"

    Passenger front: 18"

    ------------------------------------

So no, the passenger side is 1" smaller on the GII.

Thanks...exactly what I needed to know. I have fairly new Bosch Icons on my G2, 26" and 18", which I can transplant to my incoming G3.

So then if u get Bosch Icon....go ahead and order 26", 19", and 16"? Because on the amazon website if u try to order those sizes and it asks u for ur car year and model it says they dont fit.

I don't know about replacement sizes but what I did was remove the arm and reinstall one spline higher. This in effect increases the swipe angle to a higher arc on the window. Clears a tad more usable viewing area. :D

I know Bosch it a good name, but I don't think you could go wrong sticking with OEM part(s).

wipers123com has the wiper info for the 2010 prius (gen 3). Like bosch/amazon mentioned above on this string, trico is running rebates too and is even a better deal. I switched from icons to neoforms a while back and I think they work better, are super quiet and inexpensive for top of the line. Also, the rear wiper blade listed under this vehicle is exactly like the original.

It looks like it....measure yours and let us know.

Also be aware that if your new bigger blade put too much load on the wiper motor the motor will die a premature death. It's probably OK as long as the wiper doesn't move noticeably slower with the new blade.
