i dont have a conversion, i have a Zenn, a commercially made Battery EV. my batteries are not the issue, its the charger/converter that overheats so if i have run my batteries down below say 50% SOC i use a small 4" 12 volt computer fan for additional cooling to help circulate more air thru the cooling fins. without that, my charger gets to the point where it can almost cause a burn if you touch it.
