Hi afpri. Sorry for the reply delay as I've been traveling and off the forum for some weeks. I don't have pics of the shift knob but there is a thread here that does have pics. The light above the shifter is not strong enough to charge the glow powder but sunshine or normal daylight will make it glow well into the night. It makes me grin every time I pull into a dark area and look down at it.

Hi Mark57, I noticed your signature says glowpowder filled shift knob. that sounds interesting since the dash light shines right on it. do you have pics of that? just curious. I also noticed you live in OK. i'm headed to OKC in march for a while for work training and I can't wait to try the prius on a long trip. so far the seats are only slightly less comfortable than the 53mpg i've been getting. anyway, thanks for the reply... (congrats on living my dream, retire early and spending as little on gas as possible) i won't retire by 51 unless i hit the lottery. cheers~!
