      I saw your advise on a posting regarding the prius headlight leveling sensor. I think it is actually a very good idea, and I am somewhat familiar with electrical wiring. Could you please give me more details on doing this? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide!!

        Hi. To make the headlight leveler be manual, wire a potentiometer to the headlight beam level ECU, which is under the dash on the far passenger side. Cut wires 20 (yellow), 5 (blue), and 2 (purple) of connector H12, which is the 24 pin plug that goes to the ECU. A 5K pot should be fine, but I don't know for sure. Pins 20 and 2 go to the outer tabs of the pot, pin 5 goes to the wiper. Good luck.
