OK Good luck with your Prius. I also think the best setup is what we have now. Gas and Battery. and the way Prius has it set up. The volt is a series style and that is not good. Parallel set up like the Prius is the best. Perhaps the plug in will be my next choice when I decide to change. I have 36K on the 2010 and it is excellent. All the best to you and your family. J
