Near-Production Honda CR-Z Shown Off, Looks H-O-T

For any of you who ever drove and fell in love with a Honda CRX, these new photos of the Honda CR-Z will make you drool. According to Honda this is the near-production "concept" version of the CR-Z hybrid, due to hit the streets in 2010. Just like the CRX of old, the CR-Z looks fast and nimble.

Underneath the front end will be a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine running Honda's IMA hybrid system. As a bonus for hybrid drivers who enjoy a little fun with their MPGs, Honda is throwing in a 6-speed manual transmission. Overall the CR-Z looks like a fun, economical hybrid that will keep the functionality of a hatch-back while infusing some excitement into the hybrid segment.
