My 2006 Prius has strange behavior.
Sometimes when I turn it off, (Push Park button, then Power button) it blinks the screen and resets the clock.
    Any help would be appreciated

And if the battery is more than 5 years old, plan on replacing it.......unless maybe the cable connections are loose or corroded.

Hmmm. Well the battery pretty much checks out. See what other's post here on PC. You might also consider a visit to your local Toyota dealer. Bare in mind you will have to be able to demonstrate this to them and they will have to be able to reproduce the problem in order to properly diagnose it. Sporadic conditions become very difficult at times to track down. Sometimes it is best to wait until a problem that happens once in a while becomes a constant sort of thing.

Next time this happens, immediately measure the battery voltage. Also check the tightness of the battery cables as previously suggested, especially the negative cable where it attaches to the body.

    LOL!
I know it is often...very often valid.

But I have to kind of laugh at the number of times people will post with "whatever" odd Prius behavior and the immediate response is "Test The Battery!".

It should become The Prius Chat motto.- Someone should make T-Shirts.

I started to get some toothache pain and my first reaction was to go check my Prius 12 vlt battery.

However, I will admit...in this case The Battery, connectors or some evil short...is probably the culprit.

Yesterday, it set off the burglar alert then when I got it, it locked all the doors and went very quiet and gave no reaction to anything. I called AAA to have it towed to the shop and went out to check it.
Of course it worked just fine and was happy? I cancelled AAA and drove it to the shop.
At the shop, the doors would not lock.
They have checked it every two hours or so and it behaves for them.
The battery tests good and there are no error codes on the OBDC.
    so?

Have you taken the time to confirm that the battery connections are clean (no corrosion) and that all connections are tight including where the ground cable connects to the frame?

If you have done that, I would suggest you try disconnecting the ground cable and then reconnect it after about 30 seconds. That will completely reboot the system. You will lose any presets when you do this, and you will also have to reinitialize the Auto Up on the drivers window. You might have to push the power button through a couple of cycles after you "reboot" to get the Prius back into Ready Mode. Don't freak out when the gas gage shows one pip. That is normal, wait a few seconds and it will reset.

Definitely got a gremlin running around in there somewhere.

Also do you have any aftermarket devices installed? Stereo, Amp, Burglar Alarm, etc.?

    1. I do not understand the first sentence in post #8. Does your car have an aftermarket alarm installed? If yes, then disconnect it.
    2. What "shop" are you referring to? Is this a Toyota dealership?
    3. "the doors would not lock." Is that good or bad? Were they trying to lock the doors?
    4. Have the "shop" personnel tried to tighten the 12V battery cables?
    5. How old is the 12V battery?
