BMW owner pays cost for parking in front of fire hydrant

    apparently it was a multi alarm fire and this hydrant was a block away and all the closer hydrants were being used..

    I say good job... I don't think the \is any manner of stress relief. It's all about getting the job done an d overcoming obstacles to get the job done..

    I also read that the firefighters had to move the car away from the curb by hand with the help of bystanders so they could hook up to the hydrant and get a straighter run for the hose. which is why the back end of the car is kicked away from the curb.

    One could hope that when he files an insurance claim, it is denied with extreme prejudice.

    Not sure if any here has had the chance to work with fire hose. it either lays straight, bends slightly or kinks.. and when fire hose kinks, it is like shutting the valve off. extreme reduction in pressure and volume.

    Since it was a BMW, they probably would've broken his windows anyway. :p
