I have a 3rd Gen Toyota Prius which I recently brought down from Japan and it's equipped with the smart media player NSZT-W61G. The bad part is, operating language of this device is in Japanese.

Does anyone know how to change the operating language of this device ?

Try putting this in your browser:

    Toyota.jp/dop/navi/manual/

It's in Japanese, but I use Google Chrome as my browser and Google translate is easy to use on this page. There appears to be pdf documents for the manual. Perhaps you can find instructions to change the language in setup.

The PDFs are in Japanese and they are too big and the content is also locked. Translating these PDF is the problem.

I actually wrote to Toyota. They have confirmed me that this is a Japanese only version and they cannot have English on this.

i am using Japanese prius since last 3 yrs and you are right, its language can not be changed, you have to make yourself conversant as which button is to be pressed for some specific function..
I have NSZT-W60 navi system in 2011 Japanese prius, its BT button is not highlighted, means it can not be pressed on screen. it does not have its original SD card.. anybody who can help me out?

I have a NHZN-W61G in my 2011 Prius, to get it fully functional all you need to do is change it to an English screen! it'll cost about $50 US

Is anyone having this problem? Know a quick fix...does it also need the sd card as well?
