I just went outside and noticed my lower front passenger side bumper has a big scratch on it. I don't remember hitting a curb or front brick stop. My wheel is not scraped.

I did have a valet park my car at a hotel the other day. I am thinking they must have done it, but I have no idea how I can blame them as I did not notice the scrape until 2 days later.

I am wondering what was hit to cause this scrape.

Thank you for your help in advance.

    That blows. :(

Not much you can do about it unless the valet that did it admits it (doubtful).

ugh, i hate valet parking. i purposely won't go somewhere if that's all they have. tough to tell from the pic, looks more like black paint than a scrape.

Nope, my Super White SE has a similar scrape on it. There's black plastic under some areas.

It's really easy to do scrapes like that: roll into a parking spot with a wheel stop curb that's just slightly too high.

Get the touch up pen in your color, lay a scrap of carpet down, wipe down the area with isopropyl alchohol, then fill it in. Take your time, overlap slightly onto the painted zone.

Get off the ground, step back 3 feet, have a look, you'll hardly see it.

(it'll happen again, you'll get used to it)

This is what I did. You have to look real close to notice the repair. Thank you
