Normal noise from brake master cylinder/ABS unit?

    LOL! The audio clip is real and was recorded by me earlier today, but the image was from google image search, I wanted to associate the sound with a visual...clearly video editing is not one of my strengths... :)

    Yeah thats what I thought. It sounds much different in the cabin though I bet. Kinda like a rattle snake. The recorder is amplifying the whine. Probably normal. Btw, have you ever had to jump start the 12 volt battery in the car because the car was dead?

    Worst case is the pump has a leak maybe but all covered under 3/36.

    Thanks for your help! It kinda of does sound like a rattle snake inside the cabin, fortunately I never needed to jump start the battery. I still have about 8K miles on the bumper to bumper and I am contemplating extending another 36K miles.

    Your welcome. I thinks its completely normal. Sounds scary up close though :eek:

    Rest assured if there was something wrong with the ABS you'd know it. DTC's and divisibility issues for sure.
