Running on worn tread...?

    From my experience, passenger tires are made of two different rubber compound for the carcass and the tread.
    The tread compound provided the best traction and the carcass compound for strength.
    When the tread is worn down, it is running on the carcass compound and provided much less traction.
    Actually less rolling friction and get better MPG when tire worn down to minimum depth.

    So, I wonder how many birds sht in the resevor or other animals that may have dropped a duece, or died nearby and then the rains washed the remains and such into the reservoir... but they don't worry...

    12 ounces of pee in 38 million gallons....

    dump it all.... and make an example..
