While I love my Prius C, the wife calls it PC3, it really isn't a good highway car and I just could not force myself to like the "full size" Priii so tomorrow I trade in my Hyundai Elantra for the Fusion.

The Elantra is a decent car but not really "good". Gas mileage about 35 but noisy and uncomfortable.
And the Hyundai dealer here seems to have a "hire the mentally challenged" policy. :(

So, are there any Ford Fusion Hybrid owners currently active on here ??.......or other good forums for them ???

Your title says "Focus" not "Fusion", but I assume you are talking about the Fusion. I would suggest taking a look at the Fusion Energi since I believe it qualifies for a $4007 federal tax credit. If you look on Fuelly - Track and Compare Your MPG at the actual mpg values of the Fusion Hybrid and the Fusion Energi (without plugging in) it seems they get around 38-40mpg, not nearly the 47mpg suggested (43mpg for energi).

I think the current gen Fusion looks pretty sweet, but I've never driven one so I can only comment on what is shown online. I wanted to get one when I was looking for California HOV Stickers, but the limited trunk space resulted in me getting the PiP instead (since I can fit my surfboards very comfortably in the car).

I hope he meant "Fusion" because I changed it.

Also, the Fusion Hybrid is a danged nice car. And if you're getting the Titanium you won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Thank you. I was going to try and change it myself and .......WTH ???

A plug-in was not considered for this vehicle replacement because the C serves the "around town" function quite nicely.
THIS car is going to be the "highway boat" and a plugin just doesn't make sense for that kind of usage.

Did you consider the Sonota hybrid, and whatever the Kia clone is, or were you just tired of the local Hyundai experience?

My son and I went halfies on a 2013 Ford Fusion Energi Titanium last Memorial Day weekend. Awesome car! We did a 7000 mile cross-country trip in it last August. The car now has 17k miles, and its indicated MPG is 42.9 (son is not known to be a gentle driver).

Fusion blog URL: Fusion Energi Owners, Fusion Energi Forum

Two quibbles: 1). the Fusion GPS system is worse than the Toyota version; ours sometimes drops the programmed route after a midway stop. 2). the front passenger seat is mounted too low in the rear and it makes it uncomfortable for longer trips. Several solutions are on the Ford Fusion blog. We machined a 1.5 inch-rise slightly angled spacer with a safety steel pin (to prevent impact shear) from aluminum billet - I have a set of two leftover ones.

We never had a problem with too little space, even camping on a 7k road trip. However, son did invest in a Thule roof cargo container when he was moving to Kentucky afterwards.

The 2013 thread about our Fusion and the long road trip is titled "Have Prius, just bought Ford Fusion". Enjoy.

    Yes and YES.
But I blame that mostly on the local Hyundai dealer.
I really had no complaints with the Elantra........except maybe the road noise.
